It’s happening…Summer is here

It happened, the thing we have all been dreading but knew was coming. It was 100* on Sunday April 22nd.

The summer heat is a fact of life, but that first 100 degree day is a glimpse of what is to come during the summer months and the sure fire signal that the beautiful weather we love and live here for, is over.

It is one thing to know its coming though, and for it to be here already, in APRIL!!!

For the first time this year Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport recorded a high temperature of 100 degrees. We were 13 degrees above normal and we were just 3 degrees away from tying the record high temperature set back in 2012. I guess it could be worse…

One of my close friend’s lives in Highlands Ranch in Denver, Colorado and he posted this picture from his backyard on the same day we had 100 degree temps.
